My name is Marc Arsenault, I am a canadian aviator. I started flight training in 1975. I have acquired in 1979 my class 3 intructor rating. After a few months of charter flying and fire patrol over Quebec forest territory, I have also done « birdogging » for budworm spraying over the Gaspesian peninsula’s spruce forest. Following this, I headed towards the Arctic for 7 years back in 1980. I had the good fortune to fly the DHC-6 (Twin Otter) based out of Kuujjuak (CYVP). Then further north to Cambridge Bay (CYCB) on a FH-227 in support for the North-American defense radar system (DEW Line) from Alaska to Greenland. Sent back to Montreal in 1987, I got « my » first jet seat on a B-737-200. In sequence followed the A-320, B-767. My kids were growing a little older, I moved to the left seat of EMJ’s 175/190, A-320 and finally the A-330 (what a wounderful machine)! I have always maintained my instructor rating valid hence was promoted to line training captain position on the Embraer and Airbus familly until my retirement from the airline. I am also a human factors/CRM speaker. Meanwhile I started gliding and became glider instructor. In 2017, the familly expanded. « Daisy » the PA-30 (Twin Comanche C-GDSY) joined the rank in Bromont (CZBM), her operational base for mythical trips! I also offer recency and advanced CRM conferences.
